    Going up?

    Phil Gable, Creative Director

Phil started his career with Mark and Lee at DiMassimo Brand Advertising during the dot com boom of 1999. He cut his teeth doing award-winning work for Kozmo.com and Crunch Fitness and quickly rose from writer to Associate Creative Director. In 2003, he set out for new adventures in the south and midwest, which included a stint at Barkley Evergreen in Kansas City before heading to BBDO Atlanta where he led creative efforts for Capital One Bank, Dell, ING, and the Alliance Theatre. After BBDO he spent some time freelancing which included gigs at Ogilvy, Amalgamated, VH1, Kirshenbaum+Bond, and Burrell. Phil returned to New York last year to help lead creative for Microsoft at Deutsch before coming on board as Creative Director at DIGO.

Phil’s work has been recognized by numerous award shows and industry publications including the One Show, the Radio-Mercury Awards, the Effie Awards, Lürzer’s International Archive, the National ADDY Awards, Adweek’s Best Spots of the Year, Advertising Age’s Best Ads of the Year, the Webby
Awards, Creativity, Communication Arts, and Creative Review. His work has also been covered by Newsweek, CNN, Crain’s Business Daily, Fast Company and New York Magazine. His illustrations have been showcased by the Print Regional Design Annual and the New York Art Directors Club, and his work in branded content has been included in the Pictoplasma animation festival in Berlin. Phil has also written a series of animated shorts for Comedy Central and taught advertising concept classes at the Creative Circus in Atlanta.

He is currently working on a memoir about his strange experiences at a religious high school in Atlanta as well as a new animated series about a psychotic talk show host. And when he’s not doing any of that, you can usually find him in Prospect Park with his wife, Sara, and rescued Belgian Malanois, Charlie.
